Ron Paul Closing Gap with Mitt Romney in MySpace Friends

A week and a half ago Ron Paul was about 4,000 friends behind Mitt Romney in MySpace friends. Now, he is only 2,936 friends behind Romney. Paul is in third place in GOP MySpace friends, which is a considerable feat, considering that he barely gets media coverage in the mainstream media.

Congressman Ron Paul now has the most number of YouTube subscribers among the Republican candidates for president. During the last 24 hours, Congressman Paul passed Mitt Romney to take the #1 spot.

Ron Paul’s MySpace Friends Increase Doubles Romney’s This Week

Ron Paul had the highest percentage of increase in his MySpace friends than any other Republican candidate this week according to techpresident.com. Paul’s 44.1% increase was double that of Romney’s, whose MySpace support increased by 22.1% this week, and more than double that of Jon McCain’s, whose increase stood at 19.7%. Currently McCain has the most MySpace friends with 30,416; Romney comes in second with 16,807, and Ron Paul is third in the GOP line-up with 13,634 friends.
